Technical Superintendent job in Singapore Marine & Offshore company for class 2 engineer officer.

Job descriptions

DTI Class 1 or 2 Marine Engineer Officer Certificate of Competency (COC) preferred.

Requirements:

➣ Relevant experience in Offshore Oil and Gas Industry working with AHTS, Supply Vessels and
➣ Accommodation Barges preferred
➣ Willingness to travel
➣ Responsible team player
➣ Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot marine technical issues
➣ Involvement in new building/repair/conversion projects will be an advantage
➣ Minimum 3 years experience with ship owners or classification societies

Responsibilities:

➳ Day to day technical support for offshore support vessels
➳ Implementation of Planned Maintenance System
➳ Ability to troubleshoot machinery failures and recommend preventive measures
➳ Liaise with Classification societies
➳ Supervision of contractors and suppliers for day to day operations
➳ Evaluate overall vessel technical conditions and monitor performances of machinery onboard
➳ Preparation and supervision of execution of floating and dry-docking repairs
➳ Planning and monitoring of technical budgets

Job descriptions

Class 3 Certification of Competency (COC) or Diploma in Offshore Shipbuilding/Nautical Studies/Marine Engineering, offshore experience with Master Mariner qualification preferred.

Requirements:

- Knowledge of MPA regulations, SIR (Seamen section) regulation and ISM
- Familiarity with ISM / ISPS
- Multi-tasker
- Adaptable and flexible
- Ability to travel within short notice as required

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operations of the company's fleet of offshore vessels
  • Implementation of Safety Management System on vessels
  • Conduct on-site vessel inspections and audits
  • Day to day communications with charterers
  • Prepare operations report (On/off hire report, Audit report, Downtime report etc)
  • Provide operations and sailing instructions to Ship Master
  • Conduct performance assessment for Vessels  Key appointment holders and review crew assessment reports submitted by Ship Masters
  • Handle general marine matters
